Before fast food, piano playing bears and Hollywood's version of the 50's, there were places that cooked "real" food - American originals serving meat loaf, apple pie, burgers and malts prepared from scratch.

Our goal was to design a building and interior that respected that history while restraining the tendency to rely too heavily on nostalgia. In short, creating a functional, modern structure that reflects the genuine beauty of this earlier time without getting lost in it. An honest "place" to enjoy honest food.
